In many parts of india today also in the name of religion many animals are killed in temples under the name 'bali-pratha'. they devote the animals to gods and godess by cutting them in temples itself.this is a great social menace and is done under the supervision of priests itself.
they are solely responsible for this crime and does not listen to anyone who opposes because then how will they get to eat flesh and offer to other devotees as a ''prasaad''. i'm from uttarakhand and i want to share this problem of my region.
i had always listen of the killings of animals(especially goats) in name of god but i recently watched it also, which did mentally disturbed me a lot. at end of august in NAINITAL(Uttarakhand) there used to be a ''nanda devi mela'' in which birthday of nanda-sunanda godesses is celebrated and it is a week long celebration. people come around the country to see and offer their prayers. i also had gone to see it 3-4 days back,, and what i was shocked to see that in premises of 'Nanda devi temple' itself the people were killing goats mecilessly one after other. and no one protested about it and were seeing it as a enjoyment. i can't see the person killing helpless animals as they were screaming when they were going to be beheaded.after that what i saw was blood splashed everywhere even on the person's face who killed the goat, then they put the head at one place and throwed the body at other place.and they didn't stop at this and still continued to kill many other goats. After that they offered the flesh as prasad and were apllying the goat's blood on devotees forehead as ''tikka''.the whole scene was very horrifying.in this festival many goats are being killed and the pandits and purohits only says for doing these things.
this meaningless ritual is been practiced in many temples in uttarakhand(especially in hill areas) from years, and if some protest about it, the priests of temple warns them and says they will kill them also. i want to ask a question ''Does God says ,that offer him animals by killing them''?. THAT PLACE THEN HOW COULD REMAIN PURE TO OFFER WORSHIPS.
so i want to dwell some light on this problem and requests यू all to take some step in this case so that people could become aware of what crime they are doing and leave this meaningless practice.

when u do to other countries u c a lot of slaughter in slaughter houses......................why cant u stop that...............it only because they need......food.............if such will be apllied in india then what will u do.............even if u disagree..................go to mumbai kerela, telengana regions go there they eat beef openly, also muslims too.....................now in india u being an indian how can u stop that..........

And alongwith that I would like you to assure one more social development goal that you people are still following, that is the DAHEJ or DOWRY system, which you perform before marriage ceremony. As far as I know the people bearing your surname are addicted to DAHEJ if I am not wrong. which you calculate like " beta sarkari naukri- 12 lakh lenge jee" Doctor- 56 lakh" oh IAS- one crore. Majak bana diya humanity ka, he na. At first think for the humans which we are, then go for developent of animal society. All the best
